The article describes the system of students’ additional vocational training in the field of hospitality (part of the sphere of culture and tourism), which is actively supported by the state at the moment. The authors emphasize the important role of practical training, the main features of which is the inextricable link with the theoretical training, the integral training of students to perform basic professional functions. The additional vocational education of students in the field of hospitality increases the chance of prospective employment of graduates.
