Prospects of legal regulation of the institution of convertible loan in Russia

This article is devoted to the problem of using the institution of a convertible loan to finance technology companies in Russia. The article presents the author's research regarding the awareness of the notary corps and its willingness to certify this type of contract, as well as judicial statistics on disputes arising from this type of contract. The experience of foreign countries (both Western and Eastern) is given, which can become a starting point for determining the prospects for the development of the institution in question and possible improvement of legislation in Russia.
