Prospects for turning the Republic of Kazakhstan into one of the key tourist destinations for Russian tourists

This article analyzes the prospects for the transformation of the Republic of Kazakhstan into one of the most significant outbound tourist destinations for tourists from the Russian Federation in the current international situation. The study monitors the availability and demand for tourism in Kazakhstan for Russian tourists, as well as the relevance of reorienting outbound Russian tourist flows to the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the course of the study, the advantages and disadvantages of the tourism and hospitality industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the emergence and gaining momentum of a new type of tourism - «card tourism» were identified, proposals and recommendations were developed to eliminate shortcomings in the organization of a mass tourist flow from the Russian Federation.
