Prospects, problems and significance of cruises for the developing the Russian black sea tourist centers

Tourism is one of the dynamically developing sectors of the economy that has a direct impact on the development of transport, communications, construction, hotel and restaurant business, agriculture, and so on, and acts as a catalyst for the socio-economic development of regions. Cruise tourism is considered as a sphere that makes a significant contribution to the Russian economy, developing such industries as shipbuilding, instrument and machine building, metallurgy, related modes of transport, trade and services, as well as many others. Cruise tourism in Russia refers to certain types of tourism, which require the formation of special measures of state support, the removal of administrative and socio-economic restrictions on development. Promising areas in the Strategy for the Development of Tourism in the Russian Federation until 2035 include combined sea and river cruises in the Azov-Black Sea, Caspian and Baltic basins. Within the boundaries of the Krasnodar Krai, there are 9 seaports: Novorossiysk, Sochi, Yeysk, Temryuk, Kavkaz, Taman, Anapa, Gelendzhik. The seaports of the region provide direct access through the Azov and Black Seas to international foreign trade routes. The article presents data on the state of the ports and the cruise fleet of the Krasnodar Krai, identifies problems hindering the cruise tourism development in the region, considers the factors influencing the further development of sea tourism. Among activities aimed at the formation of a new type of tourism the most important are: approval of the Concept for the development of water tourism infrastructure on the Azov-Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar Krai, implementation of the Russian tourism project "Golden Ring of the Bosporan Kingdom", creation and development of infrastructure for tourists and others.
