Prospects for the development of the digital economy in Russia on the example of the construction industry

In the global economic system, the transition to a digital system is currently becoming one of the most important processes in almost all spheres of activity and industries, including construction. In the XXI century, the investment and construction complex can be attributed to a complex self-organizing open system. The digitalization processes in the construction industry are under constant control of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation: a regulatory framework is being created, a group of highly qualified specialists is formed to create an information model for the construction industry, and the timing of the digitalization stages is determined. It is assumed that the transition to the widespread use of digital technologies in construction is as smooth as possible. At the same time, the existing experience of using digital technologies in this segment of the BIM technology economy demonstrates that such innovations contribute to a significant increase in economic benefits and increase the competitiveness of construction companies. Especially in the construction sector, there is a need to use BIM technology, which will be extended to all new construction projects at the expense of budgetary funds.
