The future of fin tech industry in Russia: intense competition or strategic partnership between the banking sector and digital retail

The article is devoted to the formation of an innovative vector for the development of the financial landscape in Russia in the context of a possible strategic partnership between the banking industry and the fintech industry. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the Russian financial industry, main trajectories and models of interaction between banking institutions and fintech sector were identified, aimed at maximizing the needs of end users of financial products and services while ensuring necessary level of security in digital financial environment.
