Prospects for the development of infrastructure for electric vehicles in St. Petersburg

This scientific article analyzes the prospects for the development of infrastructure for vehicles with electric motors on the example of St. Petersburg. The authors of the study analyzed the existing growth rates of demand for electric vehicles and the existing charging infrastructure in Russia and St. Petersburg, calculated the economic indicators of infrastructure construction costs, potential income and expenses, as well as the projected profitability of the project for the construction and operation of electric filling stations based on thermal power plants of PJSC TGC-1. The results of the study can potentially be used to make financial and economic decisions regarding these investment projects, as well as to develop strategies for the development of the city's energy sector.
