Prospects for the development of Iranian-Afghan relations after the withdrawal of American troops from the IEA and the restoration of the Taliban regime

The article examines the prospects for the development of Iranian-Afghan relations after the withdrawal of troops by the Americans. The author noted the key factors that hinder the building of relations between Iran and Afghanistan. The key problems in bilateral relations are highlighted, such as drug trafficking, illegal and large-scale flow of refugees from Afghanistan, the problem of Iran's water supply from the IEA, cultural and religious differences and terrorism. However, today there are attempts to normalize bilateral relations also with the help of two states.
