Prospects for the development of municipal labor markets in the Yekaterinburg agglomeration

The paper actualizes an issue of forecasting the labor markets of small and middle size cities being under the megacity forcing. The authors analyzed the trends and prospects of the labor markets development within the eight municipalities of Large Yekaterinburg agglomeration and eliminated the function of each territory. In addition, the authors elaborated methodological tools to forecast the city labor markets development and made prediction for the municipalities of Yekaterinburg forcing (attraction) up to 2035. In conclusion, the authors highlight that the regional government absolutely needs to take into account the social and economic risks creating the prospects of small municipalities’ development.
