Prospects of development of oil producing industry in the Republic of Komi

The condition of oil producing industry in the Republic of Komi is considered, factors defining prospects of oil production increasing in the region are analyzed. In oil and gas potential of Russia the Timan-Pechora province has 4,9% in oils. The Republic of Komi territorially occupying south of the Timan-Pechora oil and gas province, is an old oil producing region, however the oil producing industry of the republic has potential possibility not only to sustain the reached level of oil production, but also to increase it.
