Prospects for the development of public diplomacy of the Republic of Korea in Central Asia

The public diplomacy of the Republic of Korea in Central Asia is actively used by Seoul to promote its national interests. During this time, the Republic of Korea has developed a number of initiatives, such as the "Comprehensive Central Asian Initiative", "Eurasian Initiative", "New Northern Policy" and others. In this regard, there is a need to study the prospects for the development of public diplomacy of the Republic of Korea in Central Asia. In this paper, the "Basic Plan on Public Diplomacy 2022-2027" was analyzed, where the directions for the development of public diplomacy of the Republic of Korea were identified, as well as the final statements of the participants of the forum "Republic of Korea-Central Asia", which can provide an up-to-date vision of the future of public diplomacy of the Republic of Korea in Central Asia.
