Prospects for the development of self-employment based on personal subsidiary farms in the Republic of Dagestan

In this article, the authors consider the prospects for the development of self-employment on the basis of private subsidiary farms in modern market conditions. The development of self-employment in private subsidiary farms opens up additional opportunities to the main direction of management, which helps to reduce the level of unemployment in rural areas. The main factors of self-employment development in rural areas are identified; the features of self-employment development in private subsidiary farms are determined; measures of state support for the creation of modern private subsidiary farms integrated into the market economy are substantiated. The conducted analysis allowed the authors to characterize the dynamics of self-employment development on the basis of private subsidiary farms in the region. The results of the study can be used by federal and regional authorities when developing proposals for the development and regulation of self-employment on the basis of private subsidiary farms.
