Prospects for the development of sports and event tourism

The article presents the development and methodical recommendations, which are aimed at studying the influence of the sport-event type of tourism on the general flow to the region. According to the data, it was found that sports clubs in Russia can earn a stable income on tourists, if they closely cooperate with the sphere of tourism. It is worth noting that it is necessary to use factors that attract the tourist to sports events, which will bring economic profit. With the help of analytical support, a strategy has been formed for the sustainable development of sports-event tourism. The plan of the whole system is proposed, which is based on the experience of international clubs and on the forecasts of the development of the sphere.
