Prospects of development of sugar beet sub-complex in Tambov region

In processing of sugar beets such essential product as sugar is produced which provides easily digested carbohydrates for human needs. This product being highly transportable and easy to store is widely distributed throughout different regions and plays important role in formation of subsistence stores. Thus, we may say that development of sugar producing branch is the strategic factor for increasing efficiency of agro-industrial complex operation in the country. The article presents the estimation of beet sugar production in Tambov region and methods of evaluation of future parameters of its development.
