The article examines the important role of morality in forensic science, emphasising its fundamental significance in the fight against crime. It is a paradox that moral categories, despite their importance in the process of investigating crimes, do not have proper legal anchoring. The article highlights that the questions of morality form social relations, which embody the basic values and psychological attitudes necessary for the normal functioning of the society and the state. The questions of training, as well as the work of investigators through the lens of moral attitudes are covered. The author discusses the moral-historical approach in forensic science. The special attention is given to the influence of the educational process during the questioning of witnesses while investigating the criminal consequences of bullying. It is concluded that the development of a moral framework for the witnesses’ interrogation is desirable.
