Prospects for improving currency control in the Russian Federation

The improvement of economic security largely depends on the country's monetary policy, which is one of the strategic goals of the Federal Customs Service of Russia. In order to protect the economic interests and ensure the financial security of the country, stabilize economic relations and maintain productive activities of currency regulation, it is necessary to improve the work of customs authorities. The article is devoted to the analysis of the activities of the customs authorities of the Russian Federation as a currency control body, as well as some areas of development of the activities of customs authorities in the currency control system are identified.
