Prospects for transforming the higher education model in the era of artificial intelligence

An assessment is made of the artificial intelligence tools used in the educational process, and the possibilities, positive and negative aspects of its use in the higher education system are considered. An attempt is made to understand the influence of new technologies on the essence, objectives and prospects of the educational process. Data from a survey of teachers and students about their attitude to the introduction of artificial intelligence in the field of education are presented. It is concluded that its integration into the education system should be approached with caution, taking advantage of its advantages and taking into account its disadvantages. It may be advisable to create an experimental platform for the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies at a university.
