The prospects of the tourism potential of the Tula region as the candidate for inclusion in the national tourist route "Golden ring of Russia"

The article is devoted to topical issues of development of domestic tourism in the regions of the Russian Federation as the main source of financial income from tourism activities. The purpose of the study is to analyze the importance of tourism for the economy of the Tula region, as well as to identify the main factors of attraction. The authors focus on the prospect of entering the Tula region into the national tourist route "Golden ring of Russia", exploring the criteria necessary for entry, with real statistical indicators.
