Prospects for the introduction of an ecosystem approach for the development of territories and rational use of land resource

Within the framework of this study, the possibilities of the ecosystem approach are considered from the standpoint of improving management tools for the purposes of regional development, aimed at the rational use of natural resource potential, taking into account the main state tasks and the interests of society. The article discusses the theoretical aspects of the formation of the ecosystem approach as the basis for sustainable development and the basis for the development of a strategy for integrated management of the development of the territory. The concept and content of ecosystem management are disclosed, the principles of its implementation are clarified. The experience of the development of digital platforms in the agro-industrial complex, which contribute to the introduction of an ecosystem approach and outline the prerequisites for the transition to a seamless ecosystem approach, is considered.
