Prospects for implementing an import substitution program in the Russian automotive industry

The scientific article analyzes the role of the import substitution program for the automotive industry of the Russian Federation in modern conditions. The effectiveness of the implementation of the national import substitution program in Russian practice has been revealed. The prospects for the development of AvtoVAZ JSC during the implementation of the import substitution program are considered. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that in the period 2014-2023. International sanctions are applied, which is why we have to look for ways to solve problems associated with a shortage of imported goods.
