The first world war: new approaches in researches

This article is discussed new approaches to the study of the First World War, contributing to the improvement of scientific-theoretical level of researches. It is noted that the current researches are put in the center for the study of himself human, his mentality, psychology, spiritual sphere, culture and etc. It is concluded that the further study of this subject is impossible without a complex, system approach.
