The origins of the Shishkovs' noble family genealogy

The article is devoted to the history of first nine generations of the Shiskovs' noble family. The authors analyze the different versions of proband's lifetime and provenance. on the basis of the considered versions the authors frame a hypotheses about a possibility to extend the genealogy of the Shishkovs and clarify its dating; it gives an opportunity to confirm a view on autochthonous family roots expressed in special literature. The lineage proposed by the authors in many aspects supplements and verifies existed lineages which are informatively and methodologically outdated. The results of the investigation are demonstrated in a genealogical schema.
