The increase of blunt trauma density in the general structure of traumatism has led to considerable increase of osteovascular injury frequency, and currently the vascular injury in case of limb bone fractures is noted in 0,6-10 % of cases, amounting to 4-5 % on the average. Two clinical cases are presented for illustration (displaced fracture of proximal tibia, complicated by popliteal artery rupture; humeral shaft fracture with angular displacement, complicated by humeral artery contusion with intima-induced lumen occlusion). The autovenous prosthesis of the arterial part injured was made in both cases with good result obtaining. Making urgent reconstructive operative procedures on vessels in case of combined trauma allows to save the limb segment involved and to obtain a good functional result in the long-term period.
