The petrogenetic value of the ZrO 2/HfO 2 ratio in zircons (Subpolar Urals)

One of the most important indicator of the relationship for zircon is ZrO 2/HfO 2 ratio, the value of which depends not only on the time of formation of the breed, but also on the characteristics of petrographic composition of the parent rocks. In the paper the ZrO 2/HfO 2 relations for different morphotypes accessory zircons granites of the Subpolar Urals (the Badjaju, Yarot, Kozhim and Nikolaihsor massifs) was studied. The histograms of the distribution of values of ZrO 2/HfO 2 relationships were compiled and analyzed using statistical methods. basis on zirconia - hafnium relationship in different morphotypes of zircon suggested about the formation of the granite massifs.
