Studies of feeding juveniles of Atlantic salmon and trout in fall period in the rivers and streams of the Kola Peninsula have shown that in comparison with the summer period in autumn, the consumption of fodder objects decreases by a factor of 5-6. Sufficiently active feeding of juveniles of Atlantic salmon and trout even in autumn flood, with a sharp increase in water level and flow velocity, indicates a high adaptive capacity of salmon young to river conditions
