The article is devoted to the food of the Russian officer corps in Manchuria during the Russo-Japanese war 1904-1905. It covers the questions of types of officers’ food from the front line to the rear. At the same time special attention is given to the intendances’ duties concerning officers’ food supply. The work also includes some recipes as well as describes field kitchen, which was a new development at that time.
