Food of Amur sleeper Perccottus glenii (Perciformes: Odontobutidae) in floodplain waters of the Saratov reservoir

Бесплатный доступ

An alien species, Perccottus glenii, penetrated more than two decades ago into the reservoirs of the Volga River basin in the Samara region. Amur sleeper feeding in some floodplain reservoirs of the Saratov reservoir is shown. Field observations have shown that the basis of amur sleeper nutrition from the reservoirs of the Mordovian floodplain are insects and their own juvenile fish, and juveniles of other fish species.
