Nutrition of herring gulls (Larus argentatus Pontopp.) dwelling in White Sea Kandalaksha gulf

306 pellets of Herring gulls were collected on the islands of the White Sea in Kandalaksha Gulf. The content of collected pellets showed that the main food items consumed by the birds were mussel, fish, and crowberries. High frequency of man-induced components in studied pellets was also noted.
