Mineral structure of drinking water, concentrations of Na, K, Ca and Mg in blood of both humans and animals in Alpine and plane regions of Dagestan republic were studied. Net blood pressure was measured in 7415 adult subjects in both regions aimed at studying blood pressure levels and prevalence of arterial hypertension. Comparative data received as a result of these measurements are presented in the article.
