During the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of women who had the disease before or during pregnancy increased. Coronavirus is a threatening factor for the population, which affects the demographic indicators of countries. A woman with a history of COVID-19 can influence the course and outcome of fetal gestation. Based on the relevance of the spread of coronavirus infection both in Kazakhstan and other countries, and its impact on reproductive functions, the analysis of existing scientific data on the impact of coronavirus infection on the course of pregnancy in women who had suffered COVID-19 earlier was carried out. For the work, evidence-based medicine data published over the past 3-4 years, as well as recommendations from leading healthcare and reproductive organizations, were used. The article offers an analysis of the problem posed from the point of view of risk assessment at the stage of pregnancy planning, the influence of risk factors before and during pregnancy on the condition of the fetus and the health of the mother (the use of antibiotic therapy, the introduction of vaccines, psychological disorders), as well as from the use of in vitro fertilization methods. At the stage of consultation with a reproductive doctor, it is important to qualitatively assess the immunological, reproductive, hormonal, genetic and coagulopathic status of the patient. Since physiological adaptation processes occur during pregnancy, it is important to exclude the possibility of deterioration of the work of critical organs. At the stage of pregnancy planning, it is important to assess the risks of cesarean section, antibiotic resistance, the presence of genetic mutations and the risks of exacerbation of chronic diseases. Vaccination with drugs that have passed clinical trials remains a reliable way to prevent undesirable outcomes and threats to pregnancy. Clinical observations have not found an increase in the risks of miscarriage or the development of fetal distress syndrome about the introduction of the vaccine into the mother's body before or during pregnancy.
