Planning activities of the organization: a synergy of opportunities

Scientific approaches of the two schools (the competitive analysis school and the re source-based school) to achieving competitive advantage of the organization have been presented in the article. Some competitive advantages that may emerge from synergy have been analysed. “Multidimensional”planning stages realization have been defined. Conclusions concerning possibilities of using synergy for achieving competitive advantage have been made.
