Planning solutions for warning overtourism problems

The new appraisal concept of “overtourism” (overtourism, excess tourism) reflects two processes (and phenomena) - the rapid growth of tourist flows and the increased concentration of tourists in centers and at tourism sites. This is characteristic not only for the world’s main destinations, but for all popular tourist areas and sightseeing sites. Overloading tourist destinations, individual centers and facilities with a tourist flow is a risk and a threat of their destruction, for local residents it is a constant life among vacationing guests, loss of their places of rest and leisure, restless and noisy environment - emergency conditions of an “technogenic” nature. Tourists themselves fall into difficult conditions of increased crowding. The causes of the destructive effect of overtourism are probably in the initial strategic priorities: obtaining income from tourism (with a significant flow of tourists) and ensuring accessibility (including transport accessibility of centers and objects of tourism)...
