Pluralism of masculinity images in culture of 21st century

Nowadays subject matter concerning gender finds new research aspects in the field of Humanities. One of the newest and timely topics is one that studies masculinity in researches of gender. In the contemporary cultural situation there is a transformation of male images, which is caused by the change of value paradigm. The article discusses social and cultural background of pluralism in interpretations of what is “male", and observes some modifications of male images in the modern culture.
