Fruit/flower ratio of Syringa L. from siringarium of Botanical Garden of Perm State University

We studied fruit/flower ratio for 6 species of lilac: S. josikaea Jacq.fil., S. emodi Wall., S. wolfii Schneid., S. sweginzowii Koehne., S. villosa Vachl., S. vulgaris L., 11 cultivars S. vulgaris L. ('Ludwig Spat ', 'India', 'Paul Deschanel', 'President Grevy', 'Frau Wilhelm Pfitzer', 'Mme Abel Chatenay', 'Marie Legraye', 'Jules Simon', Mta^ Lemoine', 'Katherine Havemeyer ', 'Mme Jules Finger'); and 2 interspecific hybrids ( S. х prestoniae McKelvey., S. х henryi Schneid.) from a siringarium collection of botanical garden of name of professor A.G. Genkel of Perm State National Research University. Cultivars S. vulgaris L. - 'Mme Jules Finger', 'Marie Legraye', 'Mme Abel Chatenay' and 'Jules Simon' do not form fruits. Morphological features, the sizes of pollen grains and fertility are defined. Androecium and gynoecium features at different stages opening flowers are illustrated.
