Victory in the Second World War: the ideologeme and the arena of political confrontation (facts against fraud)

Introduction: the author gives the analysis of the main paths of ideological harassments on the history of Russia; the invalidity of the evidence aimed at understatement of the role of the USSR in the victory over fascism. Materials and Methods: basing on the objective statistics and comparison of the data of various parties that took part in the ideological opposition, the author actively used comparative historical method in combination with other general academic methods. Results: when studying factual material, the statement on the western allies in the victory over Germany were proven to be false. Reviewers of the military and economic power of the USSR use the full range of distorted information. Under these circumstances it was needed to set against them objective facts. Discussion and Conclusions: the author concludes that it is necessary to use effective means of political and informational opposition to our opponents.
