The soil cover of some archaeological sites of Perm region: meaning and properties

The soils of three archaeological sitets of the early iron age (III-IV centuries) located in the Central part of the Perm region: Mokinsky burial, Glyadenovskoe settlement and Kala-uryn are considered. It is shown that during its development the soil has undergone significant changes associated with human activity, and differ in profile structure from sod-podzolic soils. In addition to morphological, changed and agrochemical parameters of soils. The studied soils store information about the transformation of landscapes over the past 2000 years and are a valuable object for further archaeological research and for the reconstruction of the natural environment. Proposed to include the data of the soil in the cadastre of valuable soil objects.
