Selection of centrifugal sectional pump when replacing equipment

This article discusses the problem of selecting a centrifugal sectional pump when replacing water supply system equipment. When evaluating investment projects, a method called Life-Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) is used. The costs, which depend little on the brand of the centrifugal sectional pump, for example, the installation of the pump, were not taken into account. The cost of the pump is assumed to be the capital cost. It is noted that the electricity tariff strongly depends on the region and user category, and it also changes over time.
