This article is devoted to issues of training of intended educators for work in a multicultural education space of a higher education institution. The need to constantly develop and improve professional training of intended specialists, the article author has developed a program of the elective course Features of the pedagogical organization process in a polyethnic education space, which is revealing the issues of tolerant attitude towards the representatives of diverse races and ethnic groups, the formation of national identity and mentality among students, the national traditional sensitivities of the people of the Stavropol territory, etc. The contributor therefore concludes that after passing the elective course, as well as from a result of performed comprehensive work, in this direction behavioral changes of students should to be happen, which must be expressed in their meeting with the following basic principles and rules: the principle of ethnic indifference, i.e., abstracting from the national factor in interpersonal communication; the tact in communicating with people of other nationality; the respectful attitude for rituals, ceremonials, habits, traditional sensitivities of their ethnic groups; the knowledge about ceremonials, rituals, habits of the ethnic group, in environment where a person lives and respect of traditional sensitivities of other ethnic groups.
