The article is devoted to the problem of training the teachers to work in the conditions of multicultural education. The author presents the experience of the North-Ossetia State Pedagogical Institute on training of the teachers of native (Ossetic) language and literature. A brief description of the content of some disciplines of the variable part of the educational program under the Federal State Educational Standards for Higher Vocational Education is given.
