Training of personnel for the digital agricultural economy: problems and prospects

Human resources play the leading role in the development of the digital economy in the agro-industrial complex. Digital technological processes are not only a scientific and technical basis for the modernization of agricultural production, but also the basis for the constant self-improvement and expanding the knowledge of industry workers. The formation of digital infrastructure is a source for economic recovery, but it also stimulates the development of labor resources. Staffing is one of the main components of the production efficiency of both individual agricultural organizations and the agro-industrial complex as a whole. This is due to the transformation of the economy, the introduction of innovative technological methods of production, the identification of additional opportunities for the formation and development of labor potential, its more intensive use. The proportion of IT - specialists employed in the agricultural sector of the country's economy is very low. Employment in occupations related to the intensive use of IT-technologies in agriculture in 2019 amounted to only 2.4% of the number of workers in the industry. The lag in this indicator behind the countries with the highest indicators of agricultural development is very significant. The author highlighted the requirements for workers in the industry operating in the context of the development of the digital economy, and on their basis formulated new IT-competencies of agricultural workers, among which the leading role belongs to the ability to research and process databases, the use of digital technologies in professional activities, big data analysis. A special role in the formation of human resources in the field of digital agriculture is assigned to the scientific potential of educational institutions, the introduction of new programs and training standards on innovative technologies of digital agricultural economy into the education system.
