Training of personnel for key sectors of the economy of the Far East in the views and assessments of students of universities and vocational education institutions (based on the materials of a sociological study)

The article describes the situation in the Far East associated with a decrease in the population. The necessity of work towards the consolidation of youth in the subjects of the Far East is noted and the insufficient effectiveness of state policy in this area is indicated. The authors analyzed empirical data obtained in the course of an intelligence sociological study on the conditions and factors influencing the opinions of students about future professional self-realization in the region. The positive assessments given by students to educational organizations in the aspect of preparing future young professionals to enter the labor market are highlighted. It is concluded that HE and SVE institutions need to interact more effectively with enterprises that provide internships and develop various forms of cooperation, more actively involve company specialists to give lectures and conduct practical classes, which will facilitate the transfer of knowledge and innovation.
