Training of academic staff in engineering specialities in the regional system of post-diploma education (problems and solutions)

The author analyses the basic problems associated with training of academic staff in engineering specialities giving a concise but thorough account of organisational, content, methodologic, material aspects. Ways of solving the above problems in the regional system of current post-diploma education based on good practices of a Soviet period are defined.
