Resume: Despite the emergence and implementation of more and more new methods for diagnosing inflammatory diseases of the respiratory system, their share in the structure of diseases is becoming more and more significant every year, which causes a high prevalence among the population. So, according to literature data, about 5% of all patients who applied to a doctor suffer from rhinosinusitis. Rhinosinusitis is one of the most common pathologies that are directly encountered by both primary health care specialists and specialists in the provision of specialized medical care in hospitals.
