Preparing teachers in the professional development system to evaluate students’ educational achievements

On the basis of comparative analysis of the teaches’r qualification characteristics in the context of evaluating students’ educational achievements the authors present normative, theoretical and practical substantiation of the changes in the professional development system aimed to prepare primary general education teachers to organize the evaluation of students’ achieving planned results of mastering the basic educational program of primary education. Authors defined problem areas and contradictions that determine the need for professional development; defined modules for educational program; formulated the most important characteristics of the system of teachers’ professional development needed to organize the evaluation of students’ achieving planned results of mastering the basic educational program of primary education.
