To improve the quality of planted metal products, enterprises are forced to seek reserves at all stages of the technological chain. In this case, the greatest effect is achieved by eliminating energy-intensive and labor-intensive annealing in furnaces with a protective atmosphere and combating surface defects by etching or mechanically. The paper proposes an economical and environmentally friendly technology for preparing the structural and mechanical properties of rolled products for upsetting automotive hardware. Rolled steel prepared using this technology has a uniform finely dispersed structure without a decarburized layer with increased ductility, which makes it possible to reduce the number of transitions during the upsetting of hardware and increase the efficiency of the upsetting tool. At the same time, there are no harmful emissions from rolled annealing furnaces, and pickling solutions are much less frequently refreshed.
