The President of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation have put this task forward. However, the curriculum developed by the Ministry of Defense is not perfect. The paper considers the ways to improve the curriculum and the content of the subjects of military training. As a result, the changes to be made in the syllabuses of subjects “Methodical Training” and “Military Pedagogy and Psychology” were offered.
