The research problem and the rationale for its relevance. The modern system of additional professional education plays a significant role in the advanced training of teachers. The effectiveness of this pedagogical process is determined by the use of scientifically sound forms and methods of instruction. This approach makes it possible to systematize and generalize the best educational practices. In this case, we are primarily talking about practices that reveal the secrets of pedagogical mastery in terms of forming schoolchildren success. Despite the accumulated experience in training teachers for this activity, an important issue remains unresolved. It is related to the development of a set of measures to develop their skills in forming the complex quality under study in schoolchildren. In this regard, the goal of the research is to design and justify the strategy of teacher training for the formation of schoolchildren success and the development of tools for this process. Methodology (materials and methods). The leading idea of the research determined the scientific system of views on the process under study. The idea is that teachers' training for the formation of schoolchildren success should be realized with the support of more experienced colleagues. In this regard, the positions of L. S. Vygotsky on the zone of proximal development of the personality, as well as the provisions of managerial assistance (G. N. Serikov, B. A. Kugan, S. A. Repin) were taken into account.
