Approach to assessing economic growth (case of the national project "Labor productivity")

The article provides an analysis of the planning tools and methods used, as well as an assessment of the effectiveness of the implemented activities of the National Project "Labor Productivity". The results of the conducted research show that the goal-setting methodology currently used, based on the assessment of labor productivity as a ratio of revenue and the number of employees of an enterprise, does not fully assess the effect of the introduction of advanced technologies and organizational innovations in the production process. The author proposes to supplement the system of evaluating the effectiveness of measures with indicators calculated using the Cobb-Douglas production function.
