Approach to determine the dependence of regional sustainable development on the condition of social, ecological and economic system

The author considers the main approaches to determine the dependence of a sustainable development of the region, as a social, ecological and economic system on the components it is being based (social, ecological, and economic). He also proves the sequence of carrying out such an assessment. The scarcity of such techniques is emphasized. Social, ecological and economic development is defined as a set of all conditions, peculiar to the region, which determine the regional effectiveness and competitiveness. It depends both on set of the conditions created by the regional authorities, and on the business activity of the region, its ecological situation and many other factors.
