The article analyzes the necessity of dividing educational programs for training accountants into specialists in the field of tax and management accounting. The author notes the gap in the competencies of accountants who are focused on compliance and financial managers who lack managerial accounting skills. The article substantiates that differentiation of accountants' training will increase their professional suitability for business.
